Broadway & Film actress from the 1920's & '30's who became popular at the dawn of sound films due to her singing and dancing abilities. She was nominated for an Oscar for "The Devil's Holiday" (1930). After her Hollywood career came to an end, she returned to the Broadway stage. Nancy was found dead of a heart attack on August 6, 1965, after she failed to show up for a stage performance. She was 60 years old.
