Born circa July 1755, little Edward Abrell, son of John and Ann Abrell, died at the age of four and a half. He is buried with his father, who joined him in death less than three years later. Also interred in this plot are five other young Abrell children, including a 6-month-old baby boy, also named Edward, who had died three years before his namesake sibling was born.
The Abrells' brown sandstone stele, which features a square-jawed, prominent-chinned soul effigy in its tympanum, appears to be the work of noted Manhattan carver John Zuricher.
