The infant daughter of Mangle Minthorne and his first wife, the former Sarah Cock, baby Elizabeth Minthorne died at the age of 8 months and 6 days. Born sometime between May 1763 and her mother's death a decade later, she lies interred with her in addition to two siblings who also died in infancy: 22-month-old toddler Phillip, and Hannah, almost 3 months. (See inscription below.)
The tympanum of the brown sandstone stele which marks the grave of Sarah Minthorne and her three babes features a single soul effigy with a face reminiscent of an inverted lemon---the signature style of Manhattan carver John Zuricher.
