Charles Beryl Cunningham, 89, of Burton, WV died Monday, September 22, 2003 at his residence.

Mr. Cunningham was born September 24, 1913 at Burton a son of the late Albert and Jenny Hart Cunningham.

He was retired from Carnegie Natural Gas Company. He retired in 1975 and had 30 years of service as an equipment mechanic. He was a deacon of the Harmony Baptist Church of Burton and had been a member for approximately 70 years. He was also a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge that was once in Burton.

Surviving are his wife, Mildred "Midge" Spragg Cunningham; two sons and spouses, Sonny Cunningham of Burton and Ronnie K. and Sandra Cunningham of Bridgeport; one daughter and spouse, Pamela and Larry Conaway of Mannington; eight grandchildren, Brian Cunningham, Charles Cunningham, Sr., Lisa R. Bock, Larry A. "Smoke" Conaway, Jason B. Conaway, Penny L. Novak, Michael Pl Cunningham and Troy L. Cunningham; thirteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Tom and George Cunningham; and two sisters, Edna Rushford and Loulla Cunningham.

Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 5-9 PM Wednesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM Thursday with the Pastor Linda Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in the Harmony Cemetery.
