"Obituary
S.S. Palfreeman was born in September 1838, age 76 years one month and 29 days; departed this life Nov 20 1914. He leaves to mourn their loss, one son James Palfreeman and seven daughters and a loving wife. During his last sickness he called me to his bedside and said he was ready and willing to go. That his prospects for heaven were bright. What a blessed thought that we may prepare to meet him. His voice is stilled, his chair is vacant. He is greatly missed in the home.
