Last rites for Mrs. Mary Oakes Garrow, 77, widow of the late Angus Garrow, of St. Regis, Que, who died Mon, July 23, in Hotel Dieu, Cornwall after a long illness, were held Weds morning at St. Regis Catholic Church. The Rev. Arsenault, S.J., officiated and interment was in the parish cemetery. Her body had been in repose at the Cappiello-McKenzie Funeral Home here prior to the funeral. The deceased was born on April 5, 1896 at St. Regis a daughter of the late Lawrence and Cecelia Adams Oakes, and was married to Angus Garrow who predeceased her. Surviving are, one daughter, Catherine Bigtree, St. Regis; one sister, Mrs. Jake (Marion) Laffin, Hogansburg, and ten grandchildren
