The funeral for Abraham King, 52, will be Monday at St. Regis Catholic Church, St. Regis, Que. Can., with the Rev. Thomas Egan officiating. Burial will be Kateri Cemetery , Hogansburg. Mr. King died Thursday at Hotel Dieu Hospital, Cornwall, Can. Calling hours will be from Saturday afternoon until the time of the funeral at his home. Surviving are his wife, Clara; two sons, Rudy, Snye, Que., Can., and Jason, St. Regis, Que., Can.; two daughters, Valerie and Sandra, both of St. Regis, Que, Can.; six grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. James (Beatrice) Bero, Hogansburg, Christina King, St. Regis, Que., Can., and Mrs. Cecil (Nancy) Swenson, Cornwall, Ont., Can.; six brothers, John J., Norman, Albert, Michael, Patrick, all of St. Regis, Que. Can., and Paul, Snye, Que., Can., and a half-brother, Stanley Square, St. Regis, Que. Can. Born at St. Regis, Que., Can., on April 18, 1937, a son of Paul and Agnes Square King, he married Clara Lazore on Feb. 19, 1935, in St. Regis, Que., Can. He was employed with Onandagua Fuel Company and later with Syracuse Rigging Company as an iron worker.
He was a member of the Iron Workers #440, Utica, the Hogansburg Volunteer Fire Dept. and the St. Regis Catholic Church
