Lydia Celia Allen Robertson Schaffer,daughter of Richard Harrison and Nancy Jane Baugher Allen was born on December 26, 1862 in Illinois and died on September 22, 1933 at her home in Rensselaer, Ralls County, Missouri at age 72. She and her 2nd husband Fred Schaffer are buried near his parents and Fred's 1st wife Katherine (...?), in the Bluff Hall Church Cemetery in Fall Creek Township, Adams County, Illinois. Lydia Celia Allen 1st married James Thomas Robertson on July 31, 1879 in Hannibal, Marion County, Missouri and from what I have been able to document so far, she and James lived most of their lives in and around the Fall Creek Township area of Adams County, Illinois. As is mentioned below, she and James were finally divorced for good on June 1, 1917. She 2nd married Fred Schaffer sometime after 1920. Fred Schaffer died in 1946, after which Lydia moved to Rensselaer, in Ralls County, Missouri where she continued to live until her death in 1933.
