Husband of Etta May (Clark) Olds (1873-1918). They were married on November 14, 1897. Peter was the son of James Hiram Olds and Nancy Ann (Parker) Olds and father of Farel C. Olds (1901-1929).

Peter Parker Olds - McMinnville, Nov. 7 (Special) - Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 pm in Macy's chapel for Peter Parker Olds, 67, native of Lafayette and life-long resident of this section, who died suddenly early Sunday at his home here. Services will be in charge of the Elks' Lodge of McMinnville, of which he was a life member. Mr. Olds was born March 8, 1871, of pioneer parents and was known throughout Oregon for his interest in band leadership. During his lifetime, he organized and directed 12 bands, composed of young players. Until a year ago he was director of the high school band. For 15 years he had served as Justice of the Peace here and was clerk of school district No. 40. He was secretary-treasuer of the United Artisans lodge and a member of the Masonic order here. Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Claude Ferguson of McMinnville. His wife and son preceded him in death.
