NATIVE OF LAFAYETTE CLAIMED BY DEATH

Funeral Fites Held Thursday For Mrs. A.A. Linville

Mrs. Ada Adelma Linville, 75, sister of Justice of Peace P.P. Olds of this city, died suddenly of heart attack Tuesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. L.D. Mulkey where she had been making her home.

Mrs. Linville was born in Lafayette April 26, 1860, the daughter of James H. and Nancy Ann Parker Olds, prominent Yamhill county pioneers, and had lived in McMinnville for the last seven years. She was a member of Knowles chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, the Rebekah lodge, and Home circle, Neighbors of Woodcraft.

Surviving, besides her brother, is one sister, Mrs. Katie Ferguson, also of this city. Her husband, Frank Ferguson, to whom she had been married 26 years, preceded her in death in 1925.

Funeral services were held from the Macy & Son chapel this (Thursday) afternoon under the direction of the Eastern Star and with the Rev. Chester Gates of Portland officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Memorial park.
