ERNESTINE DAVIS ADAMS, 75, passed away May 12, 2013 at St. Francis Select Medical Center. Visitation from 4-7 p.m., Friday, May 17, and visitation from 9 a.m. until service at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 18, all at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 1169 Kerr Avenue. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Adams was a retired educator with the Memphis City Schools. She leaves her devoted husband, Harold Adams; her daughter, Dr. Kaye Adams-Browne (Edward); two grandsons, Edward IV and Evan; a sister, Gertrude Davis Scruggs; a brother, Reuben R. Davis, Jr; sister-in-law, Robbie Smith; two brothers-in-law, Foster Adams and Joe Adams, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. E. H.
