When Casimier (Jumbo) Lach was young, very tall and very handsome. He was very active and run around, and flirted with the girls, but he kept an eye on Jeanette. She thought he was good looking and but she thought his brother was too. Their parents didn't want them to get together, but they did regardless. Marriage--St Hedwigs Catholic Church. in Southbridge Massachusetts, USA Jeannette Milczewski married with Casmimier Lach in 11 Jan 1941.
They lived with his parents for a while and finally bought a property in Holland, Ma on a river and built a summer building on it. At first they had a bigger plan but because of World War II, they were restricted to how much materials they could get, so they still worked on it. They had 3 children and slowly but surly they finished the 'camp' and it gave them a lot of nice time to spend the summers there for many years.
Many years he found out he had Cancer he struggled through many treatments, and closer to the end of his life Casimier and Jeanette sold the Camp (as they called it) short after, without tell the 3 children until it was sold.
Jumbo was a hard worker and did very well. His last employment was Russell Harrington Cutlery Company known now as Dexter-Russell, Inc. He was very well liked and respected.
