Katarzyna came to the USA and become a American. Once she was here she did learned some English but preferred the Polish language. She was a strict parent and a very hard worker. All of her Grandchildren called her Babcia.
She Babtized: Oct. 1, 1897 in Greczyn, Galicia, Poland
She married with John Lach in Southbridge , MA on the 02 Jan 1918 in the St.Hedwigs Catholic Church. When then lived in that area someone mentioned to have a polish church. There very many polish men in the women from Southbridge and Webster , Massachuestts. USA. There is a picture in a window that they put there names on it. It it is on the 2nd floor and it is beautiful. The ones that did that were the one that worked the most of it. We went there so many times and we and so many others gave plenty of money to help the church to be fixed up. It was so amazing it be so pretty again, but I thought it was not as pretty as what it was like before. But there were cracks and scraps, ect . Then soon after the closed the church down and you could do weddings of cemetery could use it. Then one more year and it is up for sail. It brakes my heart every time I see that. 2002
