ST. GEORGE, Utah -- Virginia Moody Boyack, age 81, peacefully passed away at the home of her son Alan D. Boyack Friday, May 9, 1997.

She was born November 30, 1915 to Joseph Milton (Mitt) Jane Everett Moody. She was the last of eight children.

Virginia is survived by a son, Attorney, Alan D. Boyack and daughter-in-law Trudy of St. George, Utah, two grandchildren; Attorney, Edward (Ted) Boyack and daughter-in-law, Helen Tucker Boyack of Las Vegas, Nevada; Jeffrey Alan Boyack and his wife-to-be Terri Bowen both of St. George, Utah. She adored her two great grandchildren, Brittany Lee and Bailey Boyack of Las Vegas, Nevada. Virginia was very close to her surviving sister-in-law, Maida Moody, also of St. George, Utah. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters: Rachel Moody Gardner, Milton Everett, Schuyler, Helen Moody Reichmann, Maggie, Carl Antone and June.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 13, 1997 at 11 a.m. in the St. George 16th Ward Chapel (550 East 700 South) St. George, Utah. Friends may call Monday, May 12 from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Spilsbury & Beard Mortuary (110 South Bluff) St. George, Utah and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to services at the Chapel. Interment will be in the St. George Cemetery under the direction of Spilsbury & Beard Mortuary St. George, Utah 673-2454.
