After WWI he worked in sales, and in 1919 he married Ethel Leona LUND, daughter of Lars and Anna MARTENSON Lund. Born to this union were a daughter and two sons.
After his retirement as a sales manager for Liggett and Myers Tobacco Co., the couple moved from Omaha to Norfolk, NE. On Aug. 16, 1969, they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with their three children, 9 grandchildren, and many friends and family members.
Funeral services were held at the 1st United Methodist Church, Norfolk, with the Rev. J. Graydon Wilson officiating.
