Mrs. Myrtle Brown, wife of Earl Brown of South Bend, passed away in Memorial hospital there this morning at 7:30, after a long illness. She was sixty-six years of age.
Mrs. Brown was born at Medaryville on Nov 7, 1886, a daughter of Mrs. And Mrs. Charles Mitchell. The aged mother, Mrs. Sarah Ren, lives on South Monticello Street. Mrs. Brown was first married to John Archer, and thirty-eight years ago was married to Mr. Brown.
Surviving is her husband; three sons, Willard Archer of Winamac, Loren Archer of Elkhart and Clarence Brown of Mishawaka and the mother. There are also two brothers, Alva and Ora Mitchell of Winamac.
