She was born Laura Enders at Fond du lac in 1873 and at the age of four years came to Brillion to make her home with her parents. In 1897 she was united in marriage to John Chakoski of Brillion and he died the following year. In 1910 she was married to August Otto of Brillion who passed away 25 years ago.
She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Edward Braunel and Mrs. Leonard Kuecker of Manitowoc, Mrs. Ida Krueber of Manitowoc; Mrs. Ida Krueger and Mrs. Bertha Radtke of Appleton; three sons, Charles of Jerome, Idaho, Arthur of Manitowoc and John of Appleton; 23 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held from the Urbanek and Schlei Funeral home, Manitowoc and from the Evangelical United Brethern church in Brillion with the Rev. Kenneth Knoespel officiating. Interment in the Brillion Community cemetery.
