Born October 7, 1955, in Columbia, she was the daughter of Mary (Knaub) Ness of York and the late Clyde Ness.
Donna was an inspector for Perform Group and previously worked for 26 years with the former Hellam Hosiery.
She was an active member of Waters Edge United Methodist Church and was a member of Craley Fire Company where she was the secretary of the auxiliary.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by a son, Donald R. Fake, Jr. and wife, Jessica of Wrightsville; a grandson, Levi Fake; seven brothers, Clyde Ness, Jr. of Red Lion, Keith Ness of Wrightsville, Dennis Ness of York, Timothy Ness of Hellam, Howard Ness of York, Todd Ness of Wrightsville, and Rickie Ness of Brogue; and two sisters, Vickie Leiphart of Hellam and Melissa Lesher of Wrightsville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held, May 25, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at the Etzweiler Funeral Home, York, with Pastor Patricia Bollinger, her pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Craley Cemetery. Viewings will be held, May 24th, from 6 to 8 p.m. and May 25th, from 10 to 10:30 a.m., both at the funeral home.
