Dwayne Craig was born May 30, 1926 to Lloyd and Mary Alice (Tatman) Craig in rural Terril, Iowa. He attended grade school in Langdon, Iowa, graduating from Lake Center High School.
When Dwayne retired from the Hartley and Everly Co-op Elevators, he had time for fishing, camping and Saturday night dancing.
Mr. Craig passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at Northshire Residence in Spencer.
Dwayne was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Marvin, and infant grandson, Jason Michael Craig and a beautiful granddaughter, Lacey Jaye Petersen.
Dwayne is survived by his wife, Charlene (Fishburn) Craig, 2 sons, Norman and his wife, Sheila and Michael; 5 daughters; Kathy Decker and Mark Pierson, Karen and Dwain Wise, Cindy Boyles, Teresa and Eddy Hollesen and Phyllis Petersen and Greg Musser; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters; Jeannette Trent, Natalie Richards and Joan Tuffs and a brother, David Craig.
Memorial services will held 2:00p.m. Sunday, November 21, 2010 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spencer. Officiating; Father William Schreiber
Interment Lone Tree Cemetery, Everly at a later date.
Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements.
