She retired from AT&T Telephone after 34 years of service. She donated to many charities over the years that were very dear to her heart.
She was preceded in death by husband, Clarence Calvin Keeney, on October 28, 1997; parents, David Lee and Mary Alyce Mitchell Hodges; sisters, Elza Jo Halstead and Arvella Gaye Skeens; and brothers, Emmel V., David Livingstone and Lee Hodges.
Surviving are her dearest friend, Jim Skeens of Racine, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family paid their respects from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet, where a procession will leave for the cemetery promptly at 1 p.m. Burial followed in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
