Naples, NY. Mrs. Barzilla French died last week, leaving a husband and several children.

On Thursday last Mrs. Nancy M. French departed this life after a sickness of several months and entirely helpless condition for the last three months of her life. She was the daughter of Riley Crippen, deceased, was born in this town and died in 44th year of her age. She had been married 28 years to Barzillai B. French, who with five children ranging between the ages of 20 and 4 years, greatly feel the loss. She had been a member of the M. E. church for the past six years, had borne her portion of the duties a incumbent upon her and had been a shining light in its membership. Her kind, social manner and genuine hospitality were marked, and she will be greatly missed by a very large circle. The loss is a severe one to the husband and children who have the sympathy of the community. The funeral services were held from the house, Saturday last at 1pm, Rev, George Stratton officiating, and her remains were interred in the Hunts Hollow cemetery.
