Wilma was born Sept. 11, 1908, in Campbell Hill, Jackson Co., Ill., the daughter of William Perry and Sarah Jane (Redfield) Carruthers.
She was a devoted member of Webster Hills United Methodist Church for 61 years. She also belonged to the Society of Mayflower Descendents and was active in the Eastern Star.
Wilma loved spending time with her family, playing bridge with her friends, and participating in the church's activities. She will be greatly missed.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Webster Hills United Methodist Church. She will be interred next to her husband in her hometown of Campbell Hill, Illinois.
