Educator T. E. Dail Rites Set


Services for Timothy Eatherly Dail of 121 Meade Circle in Lebanon, who was involved in education for 31 years, will be 11 AM Saturday at the First Methodist Church. Dr. Ed Blackburn, Dr. James Choomack and Dr. Glen Mingledorf will officiate at services, with burial at Cedar Grove Cemetery.


The Wilson County Native died Thursday at Humana Hospital McFarland after an extended illness. She was educated at Lebanon public schools, Virginia Intermont College, was a Phi Beta Kappa at Vanderbilt where she obtained a B. A. degree and obtained her M. A. Degree at Middle Tennessee State University.


She was a member of the Timothy Eatherly Dail Chapter of Friends of the Library, LaCoterie Woman's Club, Delta Kappa Gamma, Rebecca Circle of First Methodist Church, the teacher fellowship class of First Methodist Church, the Highland Rim Regional Library Board and Tennessee Advisory Council for Public Libraries.


Survivors include a son, Terry Robert Dail of Nashville; three sisters, Mrs. Gentry (Terrijjean) Crowell of Lebanon and Mrs. George (Rachel) Kehler of Johnson City; and three nieces; and four nephews; another sister, Mary Porter Waters, is deceased. Honorary pallbearers will be the Fellowship class of First Methodist Church, high school faculty and the Wilson County Library Board. Active Pallbearers will be Joe Gwyne Eatherly, Johynson Cook, Lex Cook, Dave William Smith, Larry Hallums, Terry Edwards, James Miller, Joe Adams, Fred Adams and Hugh Brown Gwyne.
