CASH, DAVID LEE SR age 88, 7720 Dan Lane, Knoxville, TN (formerly of Bluff City, TN) passed away Friday, March 5, 2010 at his residence following an extended illness. He was a native of Johnson City, TN and a son of the late Robert Taylor and Anna Bayless Cash.
Mr. Cash was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, Bluff City and had retired in 1981 from Unisys Corp, Bristol. He had served in the Army Air Corp during WWII in Japan and the Philippines.
Survivors include his wife, Pansy Bailey Cash of the home; son and daughter-in-law, David Lee Cash, Jr. and Linda Cash, Knoxville; two granddaughters, Laura Kornrumpf, Alison Butler, both of Knoxville; and three great-grandchildren, Noelle, Kiernan and Camden Butler, all of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews also survive.
The graveside service for Mr. Cash will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, March 8, 2010 in the Mausoleum Chapel at Monte Vista Memorial Park, Johnson City, with Mr. H. Clay Bailey, Minister, officiating. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Those attending may meet the family at noon Monday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
