Benjamin Dilda married Agnes Gardner February 18, 1903 in Nash County, NC. After Agnes' death, he married Anna Magnolia Morgan December 12, 1923 in Edgecombe County, NC.

Fountain----Benjamin DILDA, age 83, of Rt.1, Fountain, died at his home early Monday morning following declining health of four years. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. from Dilda's Grove Free Will Baptist Church by the Rev. NORVILLE assisted by the Rev. L. B. MANNING. Interment will follow in the family cemetery near the home. The body will be taken from the Farmville Funeral Home to the church one hour before the service. Mr. DILDA, a lifelong resident of this community, was a member of Dilda's Grove Free Will Baptist Church and was a retired farmer. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Anne MORGAN DILDA of the home; one son, Carson DILDA of Rt.1 Fountain; 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
