Funeral Services for Frederick Curtis, 83, Civil War Veteran and last survivor of Company D First Connecticut cavalry who died at his home 1114 Fairfield Avenue following an extended illness will be held from his home tommorro afternoon at 3 o'clock. Rev William Horace Day will officiate. Burial will be in Mountain Grove cemetery. Delegates from the G A R will attend. At the close of the war he became employed with the Adams Express company with whom he remained for 38 years. He is survived by a son Edward Curtis Jr, three daughters Mrs Susan Havens Mrs W E Bond and Mrs William Rohrs of Brooklyn, one brother Victory Curtis of Dallas Texas and seven grandchildren.
