Victory B. Curtis, 80, Burial on Wednesday
Funeral services for Victory B. Curtis, 80, a resident of Dallas since 1883, who died late Monday night at his home, 2813 Holmes Street, will be held at the Central Congregational Church as 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. Mr. Curtis was formerly in the wholesale lumber business but retired about ten years ago.

Born in Bridgeport, Conn., Mr. Curtis spent his early young manhood in New York City, where for ten years he was connected with the A. T. Stewart Company. He removed to Chicago and entered the lumber business, later locating here as representative of Northern lumber mills.

Mr. Curtis is survived by his wife, Mrs. Harriet L. Curtis, and six children, Ruth J. Curtis, Gwynne S. Curtis, Mrs. Russell C. McConnell, Cornelius G. Curtis, Victory B. Curtis, Jr. all of Dallas, and John Frederick Curtis of Electra Texas; also six grandchildren, Blanche E. Curtis, Gwynne S. Curtis Jr., Harriett L. McConnell, Cornelius C. Curtis Jr., Lewis S. Curtis, and Robert L. Curtis.
