Mrs. S. W. Durfee, 88, Dies in Jamaica Plain
Mrs. Sylvia Whitney Durfee, 88, widow of Winthrop C. Durfee, died yesterday at her home, 1 Dane street, Jamaica Plain. She was a charter member of the Jamaica Plain Thursday Club and active in St. John's Church, Jamaica Plain. Surviving are tow sons, Walter C. and Philip S. Durfee of Boston, and one daughter, Mrs. Harold C. Chapin, Lowell.
