RICHARD M. RUMMEL died at his home, 308 Salem Ave., Sunday at 1:45 am.

He had been working in Norfolk for the Gulf Refining Company but had returned here several years ago.

He was a member of the Western Enterprise Company, and Grace Evangelical United Brethren Church.

Surviving besides his widow, Florence A., are daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Barnhart, Gaithersburg, Md.; Mrs. Ruth Gelwicks, Hagerstown Rt. 2; and Mrs. Mildred Chambrose, Norfolk, Va.; sons, John Rummel, Hagerstown; Harry, Portsmouth; and Harold, Norfolk; sisters, Mrs. Annie Hicks, Sterling, Ill.; Mrs. Vernie Carpenter, and Nora Rummel, both of Hagerstown; brothers, Russell Rummel, McConnellsburg; Millard, Parkersburg, W. Va.; and Charles, Hagerstown; 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Services at Grace E. U. B. Church Wednesday at 2 pm, the Rev. Dr. G. I. Rider officiating. Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery.
