It is common for the names often given to daughters as Jane Redmond using Jennie from the mother, grandmother....see it often in the TN delayed name records on Ancestry.
Per The Jackson ( TN ) Sun Obit dated Feb 14 1936; gives information that Jennie died at her home suddenly on Monday, Feb. 11, 1936 in Thomaston, GA. Funeral Services provided by Griffin Funeral Home in Jackson Madison County Tennessee at the chapel and Rev. R. E. Guy held the services.
She married Dr. William E Arnold in Elyria, Ohio on June 18, 1920. Having two children : William and Mary Arnold. Which survive her. Along with two brothers: A D Barnes of Jackson Madison County TN; and Rogers Barnes of Chattanooga, Hamilton County, TN. Sisters : Eva L Barnes of Chattanooga, Hamilton County, TN ( never married ); Marguerite Ellen Barnes - Ament ( Mrs. Anthony Jay Ament ) of Hattiesburg, Mississippi ( buried in Hattiesburg, MS with husband and 5 daughters ); Mrs. L. L. Kennedy of Chattanooga, Hamilton County, TN.
I have made attempts to locate her in Georgia per using this The Jackson ( TN) Sun Obit. As well as locating her husband and their children. I can't locate them in Ohio, Georgia nor in TN....using Ancestry.com
IF anyone knows anything on the Dr. William E Arnold., William and Mary Arnold, please let me know. I am thankful to you.
I only can speculate it was her wish to be buried near her parents and siblings
