Catherine's death certificate reports that she was born in Westmeath Township, Renfrew County, Ontario. This seems unlikely. Based on census records it seems more likely that she was born in Ross Township, Renfrew County. It is believed she and her husband, Charles Stephen Brigden, are buried together in Albert Street Cemetery, Arnprior. Older relatives reported that, at one time, there was a stone and an iron fence surrounding their graves but both have disappeared. The original burial records have been lost and the grave was not listed on the latest report of the burials recorded from gravestones. However, an earlier engineering report kept in the Arnprior archives in the basement of the library building shows the grave as "Brigdon".
