Ella Lucy Barton, 69, of Willows Road, Alpine, died Monday in a hospital. She had lived here 13 years. She is survived by her husband, Claude D. Barton, 3 daughters, including Mrs. Velma Hoffman of San Diego and a son. Also survived by a brother, a sister and 11 grandchildren who live elsewhere. Interment will be in Greenwood Memorial Park Cem.
Note: Ella is the daughter of Erastus Burton Groshong and Martha Isabell (Grass) Groshong. She was married to Claude D. Barton on 22 August 1911 in Lawrence Co., SD.
