He married Charlsey Josephine Keller on December 12, 1876 in Calhoun County, Alabama Calhoun CO Book A-2. They had nine children: (1)Sarah Caroline Ford md James Robert "Jim" Spain (grandparents of my husband); (2)Frances Inez Ford md 1 Joseph Oliver Bradley 2 Edward Allen "Ed" Sublett ; (3)Mary Emmerline Ford md John Martin Keller ; (4)Etta Bell Ford md William Lonzo Gray; (5)James Wesley Ford md Jennie Marie Goodin; (6) Cora Violet Ford md Don Carlos "Burl" Self ; (7) Ada Dicey Ford md 1 Edgar Gabriel Allen 2 Melvin Weaver Owen; (8) Hobson Herman Ford md Reta Jobe; and (9) Deward Hazel Ford md Johnnie Kathryn Denny . He died on April 7, 1922, in Childress, Childress, Texas, at the age of 65, and was buried there in the Childress Cemetery.
