Funeral services for Willie Mae "Mema" Preuss, 90, of Guy, will be held at 10 .m. Wednesday, Jan. 19, at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg, with interment following at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. The Rev. Carol Ashton will officiate the services.

Pallbearers are Ronald Raska, Gerald Matheaus, Dennis Sbrusch, Wayne Dobesh, Larry Sykora, and Wilbert Preuss. Honorary pallbearers are Bengene Matheaus, Elgene Matheaus, Alvin Sykora, Eugene Dobesh, Johnny Sykora, and James Raska.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home, 3900 B.F. Terry Boulevard in Rosenberg. Tom Stavinoha will conduct a rosary service at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 18, at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home.

Willie Mae was born Nov. 9, 1909 in Schulenburg to John Chudej and Sophia Bezecny Chudej. She passed away Jan. 15, 2000 in Wharton. She was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ, Granger Road Runner Club, Senior Citizens in Needville, and the Sewing Circle in Guy and Needville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Preuss; parents, John and Sophia Chudej; sisters, Emma Sykora and Edith Webb; and brother, Julius Chudej.

She is survived by a daughter, LaNette Schultz of Guy; grandchildren, Cyndi Schultz of Guy, and Lance Schultz and his wife, Amy, of Fairchilds; sisters, Georgia Sbrusch and her husband, Willie, of Beasley, Henrietta Dobesh of Rosenberg, Sylvia Matheaus of Beasley, and Irene Raska and her husband, Willie, of Wallis.

For those wishing, memorial contributions may be made to Friedens United Church of Christ in Beasley.
