Lorene Bridgers Etheridge Courter, 80, of Macclesfield died Tuesday.
Funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. Macclesfield Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Greg Gregory officiating. Burial will follow in Macclesfield Cemetery.
Lorene was born Jan. 22, 1930, to Eddie Lee and Katie Mae Harrell Bridgers.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Paul Duck Etheridge and James Courter.
Lorene was a lifelong member of Macclesfield Presbyterian Church and retired from Carolina Telephone & Telegraph Company.
She is survived by a daughter, Paula Lewis, Macclesfield; son, Dudley Etheridge and wife, Rhonda, of Macclesfield; grandchildren, Brian Etheridge, Allison Taylor and husband, Jason, and Trey Lewis, all of Macclesfield; great-grandchildren, Codie Etheridge, Chase Taylor and Ella Taylor; sister, Sandra Webb and husband, Randolph, Macclesfield; brother, Larry Bridgers of Macclesfield; sister-in-law, Catherine Bridgers of Macclesfield; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends at Macclesfield Presbyterian Church, Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.
