He married Beulah Tabitha LANCASTER on 18 October 1914, in Mountain View, Stone Co., AR. In 1927, they moved to Rosedale, McClain Co., OK, where the family continued farming.
To this union were born 6 children, Richard Kenneth, Nelce Lancaster, and Ida Lucille Klepper, all deceased, and 1 daughter and 2 sons, all living in Oklahoma.
Services were held in the Yoakum Memory Chapel, Purcell, with Rev. Stan McGeehee officiating. Casket bearers were: Henry McGowan, Kenneth Shobert, Norwood McGowan, Wilmont Watts, Herbert Davis, and Finis Klepper.
