The funeral of Miss Clara Adelaide Brown, who died late Wednesday evening following a long illness, was held at 2:30 this afternoon from the residence of her brother, former Senator Elon R. Brown, 124 Clinton street. Dr. S. A. Hayt officiated at the service. Interment was in Brookside cemetery. The services were largely attended.
Honorary bearers were Charles H. Congdon, Harold Remington, George A. Lance and Francis M. Hugo, of New York city, former secretary of state.
