Jim had resided in Van Buren since 1974 and was formerly of Florissant, MO. He was of the Christian faith. Some of Jim’s favorite things included: crossword puzzles, fishing, music, and playing the guitar. Jim was also a huge Cardinal’s fan. He loved his family and spending time with them. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather who always put his family first. Jim was known to many as Yahoo, for the fun-loving shout he would make to let all know he was happy, excited and enjoying sporting events celebrating his grandkids’ success.
On March 22, 1969, he was united in marriage to Jane Chilton-Dougherty in Bonne Terre, MO. She survives of the home.
