Per biographical sketch of Jacob and Judith Stull in the book "Biographical History of Richland County Ohio 1983" published by The Richland County Genealogical Society: "Jacob (1797-1866) and Judith Bowman Stull (1804-1886) lived with his parents in Morrison's Cove, Bedford County, Pennsylvania. Upon the death of his father, the farm was sold. In a Conestoga wagon, Jacob moved his mother, wife, children, and household goods to the home of his sister, Catherine, wife of S. Barr, in Richland County, Ohio," arriving about May 1, 1832. By the fall of 1832, Jacob had purchased eighty acres of land in Washington Township, Richland County.
