She was born in Cambridge, Mass., daughter of the late Cecil "Hap" and Margaret (Donlon) St. Germain.
Surviving are three children: Denise of Philadelphia, Joseph in Virginia and John in Wyoming; and four grandchildren: Shane, Cameron, Callie and Grace Howsare.
She was preceded in death by a son, Donald Reed.
After high school, Edith served in the U.S. Air Force as a nurse. She retired from Valley View Home as a nurse's aide after many years of service. She had attended Holy Rosary Catholic Church and enjoyed knitting.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 16, 2013, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata. Inurnment will be at Carson Valley Cemetery.
