Donald Reed Howsare II, 36, Box 232, Tyrone RD 2, died Saturday afternoon,August 14, 1999, at Altoona Hospital. He was born June 13, 1963, in Springfield, MA, the son of Donald R. and Edith Marie (St. Germain) Howsare. He married Ilene Lyn Knouse September 22, 1990, at All Faiths Chapel, PennState Altoona.

Surviving are his wife; a son, Shane E., at home; his mother of Juniata; his father of Hollidaysburg; a sister, Denise L. of Devon; and two brothers: Joseph A. of Juniata and John D. of Duncansville.

Mr. Howsare was a member of Altoona Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. He was employed as an electrician by Mortimer Electric, Bedford.

Mr. Howsare was a 1982 graduate of Altoona Area High School. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and cars. Mr. Howsare also enjoyed sport shooting.

Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Mauk and Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata. Services held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 19, 1999, at Mauk and Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata, with the Rev. Timothy McGarvey officiating.

Interment at Carson Valley Cemetery.
