TALLULAH (Special) — Funeral services for Mrs. Callie M. Adams, 89, of Delhi, were to be held at 10 a.m. today at the chapel of Crothers Funeral Home with the Rev. Lyndon Brown officiating.
Burial was to be in Silver Cross Cemetery.
Mrs. Adams died early Wednesday in Mercy Hospital in Vicksburg after a short illness.
She was a native of Delhi and had been a residence [sic resident] of Madison Parish for 78 years.
Survivors include two sons, Will Z. Adams and Judge Cliff C. Adams; three daughters, Mrs. Myra Willett, Miss Addison Brooks and Mrs. Henry C. Sevier Sr., all of Tallulah; a brother, E. C. Montgomery, Shreveport; a sister, Mrs. John Higgins, Lake Village, Ark.; 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Adrian Willett, Gus Willett, Rufus Yerger, R. W. Gandy, Carroll Regan, John Weimar, E. M. Adams and W. R. Adams.
