Elizabeth had lived in Canada for 43 years, in BC for 37 years, and had been in Nelson for six weeks when she died. She was the daughter of William and Alice Cook, both born in England, and was married to Reuben Kirk of Blueberry Creek. The informant was her husband, per Royal BC Museum online copy of BC Archives death certificate 1947-09-009497.

"I searched for this grave April 11, 2018 and could not find any stone. I did get a hold of the cemetery records from the Castlegar library and it says STONE BROKEN, and UNREADABLE."
