Mrs. Bessie Hamilton
AROCLA, Ill. — Mrs. Bessie Mae Hamilton, 84, of Arcola died at 1:15 a.m. today in Arcola Shelter Care Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Shrader Funeral Home, Arcola, with burial in Arcola Cemetery. Rev. Wesley Groff will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday.
Mrs. Hamilton was born Sept. 16, 1890, in Monroe County, Ky., the daughter of F. M. and Julia Ann Rayburn Rich. She married Romie Hamilton March 28, 1923, in Terre Haute, Ind. He died Nov. 19, 1964.
She is survived by two brothers, Pearl Rich and Leonard Rich, both of Arcola; and two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Adams of Lorraine, Ohio, and Mrs. Nellie Barger of Spring Valley, Calif.
Two brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
Mrs. Hamilton was a member of Arcola First Baptist Church.
