Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 11, 1998, at St. Peters Lutheran Church, in Collins, with the Rev. Matthew Doebler officiating, burial will be in the church cemetery.
He was born July 8, 1918, in Manitowoc County, son of the late Richard & Elfrida (Gierke) Draheim. On April 14, 1945, he married Anita D. Klessig at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church. Mr. Draheim attended the Woodcock School in the town of Rockland. He then farmed in the town of Eaton until his retirement. He was a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church, Collins, and served as Church Council President and other offices, a lifetime member of Rockea Hunting Club, Collins Sr. Citizens, and the Manitowoc Farm Bureau. In his retirement he
enjoyed wood working, fishing, hunting, and traveling.
Survivors include his wife Anita; two sons & daughters-in-law, Wayne & Joyce Draheim, Chilton, Rodney & Eileen Draheim, Luxemburg; two daughters & one son-in-law, Donna Jackson, Kimberly, and Darlene & Denis Haese, Chilton; ten grandchildren, Troy Theel, Chris, Tim, Jeff, and Amy Jackson, Adam, Anna, and Renae Draheim, Tamra & Jesse Haese; one great grandson, Kyle Jackson; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Elroy & Olive Draheim, Mishicot, Wilber Draheim, Spring Hills, Fla., Allan & Leona Draheim, Manitowoc, Harvey & Irma Draheim, Reedsville; one sister-in-law, Lilian Hahn; one brother-in-law, Alfred Klessig. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother-in-law, Eldor Hahn, and a sister-in-law, Margie Draheim.
Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home in Reedsville on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. and then at the church on Wednesday from noon until the time of service.
