Port Isabel, Texas — Willis Isaac Hudson, 79, passed away Monday morning at Harlingen Medical Center on January 26, 2004.
Mr. Hudson was born in Abilene, TX to Isaac Hudson and Neva Parker [Willis] Hudson, a graduate of Rose Polytechnic Institute at Terre Haute, Ind., in 1948. Mr. Hudson was a World War II veteran serving in the Army in the 324th infantry. After his marriage in 1948, he returned and was a prolific boat designer.
Survivors include his loving wife – Mackie of 55 years; 1 son, Willis Rex Hudson and daughter-in-law, Connie, of Bayview, TX; 2 daughters, Maria Perlman and son-in-law, Steve, of Koloa Kauai, Hawaii, and Barbara Bell Hudson, Port Isabel, TX; 6 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
Memorial services are pending and will be announced at a later date.
