The following is an obituary for Isaac J. Hudson:

ISAAC HUDSON

WESLACO - Isaac Hudson, 91, of 1300 S. Border died at 5:20 p.m. Wednesday in the John Knox Village Health Center after a long illness.

A retired civil engineer, he had been associated with Marathon Oil Co. He was a onetime assistant city engineer at Abilene, where he resided before moving to John Knox Village in 1972. He was an Army veteran of World War I.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Highland Memorial Park with Rev. Dr. Dwight C. West, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church officiating.

McCaleb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include the wife, Mrs. Neva [Willis] Hudson; a daughter, Mrs. Neva Nell [Hudson] Burriesci of San Jose, Calif.; a son, Willis [I.] Hudson of Houston; two sisters, Mrs. Willie Jackson of San Diego, Calif., and Mrs. Elvie Simpson of Vacaville, Calif.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Among the grandchildren is Ann Bunyan of Weslaco.
