Mrs. Hamilton's mother, known by almost everyone as Aunt Sallie Myers, died at Mr. Hamilton's in Newtonia on Thursday, February 15, 1900, at the age of 77 years. She was a kind and loving mother and grandmother, and is sadly missed by her dear ones. The remains were taken to Wanda for burial and funeral services were held from the Wanda church, conducted by Rev. O. E. Vivion.
