Mrs. Foy lived in Fort Wayne most of her life. She was a registered nurse for several years and was a homemaker. Her husband, Dr. Hayward W. Foy died in 1990.
Surviving are three sons, Dr. William H. Foy of Rolling Meadows, Illinois, Dr. Thomas D. Foy of Fort Wayne, and James B. Foy of Carpentersville, Illinois; three daughters, Geraldine M. Benson of Fort Wayne, Helen E. Evans of Lakeland, Florida, and Kathryn L. Publow of LaSalle, Illinois; two sisters, Helen Mulholland of Overland Park, Kansas, and Elsie Ziegler of San Diego; 14 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held at the D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home. Her burial is at Cedar Creek Cemetery in DeKalb County, Indiana.
