Marie grew up in the Frankford Section of Philadelphia and attended Frankford High School. After high school, Marie worked for Sears and Roebuck as a secretary in the Tower Building, before getting married in 1946. That year, Marie and her husband relocated the family home and business, Alosi Model Italian Bakery to Feasterville, PA. The business prospered and went very well for many years. Then after the death of her husband in 1971, she retired from the business and moved back to Northeast Philadelphia.
Marie was a kind and devoted mother who was in her element cooking Italian dishes for her family and she enjoyed spending time around those she loved.
She is survived by her four daughters Diane Mansfield of Abingdon, MD, Rosalie Alosi, of Springtown, PA Marie Alosi of Eureka Springs, AK, and Carolyn Alosi of Trevose, PA and her one son Peter R. Alosi of LaPorte, IN. She is also survived by her one brother Joseph Capone of Cherry Hill, NJ and her 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass was held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 235 East State Street, Doylestown, PA.
